“I had the opportunity to attend the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR) Conference. The theme of the conference was ‘Charting the Way for Health System Transformation.’ CAHSPR allowed me to learn and network with people in various aspects of healthcare in Canada. The networking opportunities afforded by the organizers at CAHSPR was exceptional. I was able to speak to other Indigenous scholars and community partners from across the country, learn about disparities that continue to exist in Indigenous communities and in urban spaces, and hear thought provoking keynote speeches regarding the future of our healthcare system. I am very thankful to the Indigenous Primary Health Care and Policy Research Network for the support to attend CAHSPR.”
